Town Clerk/Tax Collector

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector is the only full-time elected official in the Town of Troy.  This is the office that just about everyone in town visits at least once a year.  New residents register their motor vehicles here, register to vote, and get a dog license.  You pay your property taxes here, get a pistol permit, or a marriage license.

Payment Options:

• We are now able to offer credit cards as a form of payment for all online and over the counter transactions. There will be a 2.79% with a minimum of $1.50 fee paid to the company who is supplying the credit card service.**
• if paying by check, you will now only need one made out to the Town of Troy for the total cost of the registration.
• The drop box will remain on the front of the building for your convenience.**
