Building Inspector

The Town of Troy currently contracts with an individual to perform inspections on an as needed/wanted basis.

The staff at Town Hall will contact the Building Inspector to schedule visits, as needed.

Permits for new construction of homes, additions, garages and barns require at least 4 inspections:

1) Ground, drainage and foundation inspection

2) Rough framing, rough electrical and rough plumbing

3) Insulation inspection

4) A final inspection for the Certificate of Occupancy.
