Gay-Kimball Library

The Gay-Kimball Library is one of the newest and most modern in the Monadnock Region.  The facility is named for two benefactors.  Mr. Walter Gay donated the land for the library in 1927.  A bequest from Mr. Warren Kimball in 1945 provided the funds to erect the original building.  The library was dedicated in 1953.

In the 1990s, a local fundraising effort provided the funds to enlarge the original building. The renovation included the meeting room which hosts many organizations who do not have their own meeting space.

The library currently has more than 20,000 books available, more than 2,000 DVDs, plus audio books and magazines.

The library is located at 10 South Main Street, just south of the town common. For more information, visit the library's web site at this link:   Click here for website!
